Museum of Modern Art, Port Said
Continuing on the theme of modern art, this museum is definitely worth a visit if you have an appreciation of this genre. Port Said has some fantastic museums, including the National Museum, but the museum of modern art stands out for me for its intriguing works of art and the adventure that goes into the presentations.
Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum
Impressionist painting is shown in its best light at this museum, which has been thriving for almost 50 years. There are also various other genres to enjoy, and paintings from some of the most famous artists to have lived have a home here, including Auguste Renoir and Vincent van Gogh.
The Museum of Fine Arts
The fine art on display here ranges from paintings to sculptures and architecture. This is one of the highlights in a country brimming with culture.
