Some advice on buying a good Egypt Travel book
It goes without saying that different type's of travel book are appreciated by different people. The best way i have found though of choosing a book is to find ones with the 50+ reviews where possible and to find a book which is consistently rated reviewed and rated well.
I have found that a good book such as a Lonely Planet Guide on Egypt or Cairo can save far in excess of the value of the book itself, given that one decent tip, recommendation or piece of advice can save you a lot of money. It can otherwise be hard for exampel to find what might be the best:
- Local restaurant in Cairo in the backstreets where the locals eat.
- Where you can get the best value belly dance lessons and private tuition.
- The best bed and breakfast (pension) in the heart of a city such as Luxor.
